book is for anyone who intends to visit a psychic or medium. Don't
go armed only with hope and a strong desire for answers. Try something
else - knowledge.
I see no evidence that would indicate the reality of paranormal or psychic powers, nevertheless I could be wrong. If you or perhaps someone you know wants to consult a psychic then they are simply doing what we all do - looking for answers. But we are all pretty much agreed that whether real powers exist or not some psychics must be fake. The problem is can you tell the difference? |

| The popularity of psychics and mediums continues to grow. Not so long ago mediums were considered to be a decidedly weird bunch but now there are some who can be considered household names. They have become celebrities and have a solid base of fans who hang on their every word. You see them apparently reaching out to the dead on TV programmes. Amazingly it seems that on British television there is entertainment value in having people openly cry as a medium claims to be speaking to one of their dead relatives. Every one of those tears helps the ratings making spiritualism a cash cow that television production companies are happy to milk. Considering the importance of what is supposed to be taking place the messages are mostly trivial, facile, and completely obvious in content. But underneath the few at the top is an army of 'psychics' and 'mediums' ready to cash in on this new industry and there's almost certainly one in a town near you. Most people haven't a clue how mediums and psychics work and therefore so much of it can appear truly supernatural. I have studied mediums and looked at the methods and techniques they use and I have demonstrated that they work by appearing on TV and using these methods to convince others of my 'psychic' abilities (of course they were told the truth afterwards). I have been given readings by professional psychics who have been given endorsement by well known celebrities. In this book I will be explaining what it takes to make a reading work, and how it can fool not only the sitter but the psychic or medium as well. After reading it you may still believe and still visit psychics and mediums but you will certainly be a much better informed customer and in far better shape to access their abilities than you were before.
